Bachmann long caboose
I recently purchased #0505 and tools are no longer needed to remove the roof. The ladders slide into brackets on the roof.
The caboose is right at home on your mantle. As the article says, the detail of the interior is hidden, except what can be seen through the windows.

Is there much drag on the electrical wheel pick ups or do the wheels roll relitivley good. I would think the 5 pounds of weight and the friction of the wheel pick ups would make this a hard pull with 6 or 7 cars.
