I was filling out an order on NHS Hobbies web site today and was placing an order for some track. I was looking around and noticed that they carry a set of 12 metal wheels Made by Bachmann for $5.99. I noticed in the picture that they are NS with a unsulated metal axel. I did not order any since I have never bought any before.
I have Intermountain and P2K wheels on all my freight. Has anyone ever bought these before and used them? The price is right, so any opinoins would be appriciated.

I have the Bachmann metal wheels on a lot of my rolling stock and haven’t had any issues with them. I buy them every chance I get.
I have recently added some Bachmann 33 inch wheelsets to some of my freight cars and like Jeffrey I have found them to work well and have had no problems.

$6?? I’ve got to get myself some of these! I keep buying the same quantity of axles for $10 from Reboxx… While they are among the best available, they do get pricey!
I just sent off the order to NHS Hobbies a few hours ago, so I think I am going to purchase some from them. I use the IM wheels quite a bit and just love them. So I’m glad I got some responses fast, so I can get some ordered.
Oops!!! I was wrong about the web site, it was Model Train Stuff aka MBKlein, not NHS Hobbies.
