I just saw this at my local hobby shop this afternoon. I was impressed. The sound was great for the price (I’m not a sound afficianado, so for me it was great at any price). It ran smooth as silk at a crawl and the chuff was already set at four per wheel revolutions out of the box. There was a lot of molded on detail, but hey, for $128 DCC and sound intalled, what do you want? Has anyone purchased one and if so, what is you take on it?

No reviews in that thread. The $102 sounds good, but you can’t hold it in your hand before you buy it, or test it and shipping is always extra. For me, it’s worth spending a few extra few dollars to buy it from a hobby shop. But unfortunately, some modelers don’t live near a hobby shop.
