IN some photos of the B’mann 2-6-6-2, I have noticed that it has a very anorexic look, and was wondering if I could chop it down to make it a 2-6-2, as it would look better like that I’d think, and praries are one of mmy favourite wheel arrangements, next to the 4-6-0.
In theory I suppose you could. Practically speaking forget it. It would be a very tedious project and require a great deal of skill (and probably machinery, small lathe, milling machine etc.) I would rather try scratchbuilding than conversion.
