Hmmm. It only pulls 17 cars? That seems a bit wimpy, to be most charitable. One would think it could pull twice that amount. I’ll be very disappointed when mine hits the rails.
I have found that this beautiful Loco cannot pull any load up a slight grade. It is so light that it simply spins and spins. So I’ve have decided to try Bullfrog Snot for the first time. Of course, the guys that sold me this engine suggested that C&O would have used at least two of these locos on the coal runs they were designed for - encouraging me to buy a second one.
That stinks that it only pulls 17 cars, i don’t know if i want to get one now. you would think it would be able to pull a lot more then that.
Bullfrog snot really works if you are VERY carefull in putting it on. No shaky hands here!! I have increased traction on several of my locos, and it does increase traction by at least 70% Very nice looking loco.
Runs very well on DC. Doesn’t pull well, but Bullfrog Snot does really work. I pull 15 cars even up a slight grade.
