My Bachmann Spectrum 2-8-0 has Tsunami® DCC sound technology factory installed.
Ditto above! The sound effects are excellent. I’m waiting the mailman to deliver a factory installed sound-equipped Spectrum 2-6-6-2 and am looking forward to comparing its sounds with the 2-8-0.

I myself have the Spectrum Russian Decapod with DCC & Sound and agree the Tsunami sound is outstanding.
Had to adjust the chuff rate but once that was set its fantastic, only real fault i can find is she’s a bit lightfooted.
I’m looking at the Russian Decapod 2-10-0 for $147., the Baldwin 2-8-0 Consolidation for $142. and the 4-8-2 Heavy Mountain for $179 that are DCC and Sound equipped.
Are these a good prices?
Bill
I have the Spectrum 4-6-2 K-4 Pacific with factory installed Tsunami® sound.
It works fine.
You must be looking in the Micro-Mark catalog. Those are the prices he is selling them for, and I don’t know of anyone who may be cheaper.
Yes, I got the new Micro-Mark catalog the other day and thought that looked like a good price. I’ve checked a few online stores and the price was higher.
I thought I’d put it out here and if the general consenses said the price was good I’d place an order.

I’d try wholesaletrains.com. And free shipping too I believe.

I thought I checked them but after looking again they beat Micro Mark by a fair amount.
Thanks,
Bill
I’ve yet to find a better online store for loco and rolling stock pricing. The selection is not exactly Walthers, but for what they do have, the pricing is great!
