Bachmann Trolley - n-scale

I would like to install a Bachmann Trolley with an auto-reserve unit on my n-scale layout. Bachmann sells an HO kit that includes an auto-reverse device and tracks, but does not manufacture a kit for n-scale. Is it possible to build a n-scale version with auto-reverse?

Walthers sells an automatic reversing unit made by Miniatronics that includes a 12-volt transformer. Can I use this with the n-scale Bachman trolley?
