Hi , I e-mailed service at Bachmann about my N scale TGV passenger train engine a week ago with no responce at all. I was wondering if I can get new gears or trucks for the drive engine. all or any Thanks JLRC47 [:)]

ho scale is great. at least for me i have the same proplem with bachmann
I never really got into N scale . I have been away from Model Railroading for good 10 years and Now my 6-8 year old girls are getting interested. So HO is more kid freindly than N . and O is too pricey .
[sigh] Sadly I called Bachmann and they said the engine is to old and they do not have parts [:(] .
[?] Maybe someone will have an idea. The trouble with the engine is : when I stop it , it needs a little pu***o get rolling agian. I have cleaned and lube the engine and did not help. (note the engine is like new never real been run much) The gears are exposed on the under side of the trucks and they seem to be binding on each other.
I may just eBay it as is but new layout can use every dime it can get . [:)]

I had that same TGV engine, I went through 4 sets of gears in a week before I finaly threw it in the trash. At least that was back when customer service was still in the US and not in Rajipoor, India by somebody that uses a western sounding name. Notice I said 4 in a week, nowadays you are lucky if you get one in 4 months.
Your best bet is to use it as a non-functional backdrop prop, or shoot it out of a potato gun.
Call the phone line (ext 17 or ext 19) If Jennys not there ask for Tom in parts. He’s very knowledgable if you don’t have part #'s.
