Background city sounds on CD"s?

Does any one have long playing background sounds on CD"s? Can you tell me a good source for them ?

Would like to hide some small speakers 1 1/2 or 2 inch in side some background buildings and use a small CD player. Any suggestions , Ideas?

I don’t know if these are stand alone CD’s or if you have to use their hardware.
