hi all, i was in a forum last week and in one of them someone placed a web site for background images that you can get from them, any sixe or style, does anyone know of this site???
Backdrop Warehouse comes to mind:

They have a good back ground section.
Go to Internet and type in “Model Railroad Backdrops” This site will lead you to many possible sources of backdrops. Personally, I use SceniKing sectional sequential backdrops which are 7"x11" photos, which form a continuous 8ft.to 10ft. backdrops (about $28 for set with uniform top sky color), I get them from my local model railroad hobby shop. You can select the theme that you want and order from Walthers. I use a giant glue stick to glue the sequence of photos to the Luan panel backdrop,( which has been prepainted with a sky color to match the color of the uniform sky blue color of the tops of the sequence of photos). This scene is only 5 inches deep, with a double track N scale on a slightly raised platform directly behind the HO scale single track. Previously, I had painted a rugged mountain scene in this panorama, but found that the SceniKing sequence of distant low hills, made viewing the forced perspective of the scene more realistic. HHPath,
Very nice! I’m currently building an along the wall layout. For a backdrop I’ve been debating between Sceniking and Backdrop Warehouse. I like the forced perspedtive concept as it gives a scene a lot more depth.
