Badger Paints

I need to purchase some Badger paint. According to the label, it says environmentally friendly. Does it mean it is acrylic?

Also, I will probably airbrush the paint on some detail parts. Any hints on thinning? I have a rather crude airbrush made by Testors.

They are acrylic paints. No thinning is needed. Most airbrushes come with a screw-on cap that allows you to connect to the ModelFlex paint jar directly. I’ve had excellent success spraying with these.

You do need to stir thoroughly – do not shake them or you will gets lots of bubbles – use a battery-powered stirrer (Badger, etc.) for best success. A popsicle stick works well also. I spray at 15-18 psi. You can thin these paints for light applications of paint, such as in weathering, but it is not necessary.
