Baldwin 4-4-1000 age?

Where can I get specs on the age and issues with the prototype Baldwin 4-4-1000? eg when were they built etc.

I just picked up the HO Bowser with lok sound and I am very impressed with the model

Age, original owners, number produced and tell tale charachteristics can be found in the diesel spotters guide from Kalmbach. problems or satisfaction might be had from historical societies
