I have just started an HO layout. I have drawn it out and now I have to wire it. I was wondering if anybody had some advice for a basic wiring book to get me started?
I recommend you get a copy of the book by Atlas called ‘How to Wire your Model Railroad with Atlas Electrical Components’ first and read it. It is a wonderful introductory lesson on 'two rail wiring. After that, I would pick up one of the books from the Model Railroader collection. I have a good bok called ‘How to wire your Layout’ or ‘Basic Model Railroad Wiring’ or something like that. I know this is an exciting time for you, but take your time and read about it before you commit yourself to the labor. Good Luck. - Ed
Hope you found what your looking for . SOME people on here are actually helpful, SOME!
The best basic wiring book is Andy Speradeo’s Easy Model Railroad Wiring.
