Well that’s good. I thought you found it in a dead line. Maybe they’ll get on it someday soon before it deteriotes to much. Which museum is it in?
It kind of is in the dead line, but a museum dead line, so that isn’t too bad. The museum is the Prince George Railway and Forestry Museum. Its small, but they have some neat stuff. If you’re in the area it is definitely worth the visit. Here are two other shots of the RS10 I took last summer.
The PGRFM is also home to one of the BC Rail Tumbler Ridge electric locos. I’m sure the RS will be repainted eventually. From what I understand, they have a CNR F7 taking up most of the shop’s time right now.
CPR steam fans may also be interested to know that CP 3716’s (see my avatar) original tender is sitting outside the PG museum shop.
