WOW.
FANTASTIC!!! When I started looking at the pics I thought they were real! This man went the extra mile I would say. Mike
Remarkable modelling. The uniforms are real cloth it looks like. Amazing what can be achieved in larger scales.
i bow down and grovel in the dirt in respect for the quality of the modelling . i can’t imagine what it cost to build that setup . curious about the amount of time to do it too .
I thought it was real for a minute also. A very good RR. Congrats to who ever buit this!!!
Yeah, but…
When you build in a scale that large, detail becomes a lot easier. Those figures are as big as the G.I. Joes’ from the old days. Dave
Like to see someone do that in “N” scale!!
If I had a Million and the space, WOW!!
Looking at the wrists and hands of the figures I tend to think they are G.I. Joes. The left hand of most of the figures appears to have the “Kung Foo Grip” that my second G.I. Joe had! Whatever they are (or were), it is still some very fine modelling in any scale. I wish I had the time, space, and patience for work like that.
Now, Here is a guy that knows how to build models. Especially when there the size of your riding lawn mower. Some of those guys look like they could start walk’in and talk’in!!! Thats a true WOW!!!
James
I could beat it! With a P-38 L, 40 50 caliber machine guns, 20 MM cannon and 10 air to ground rockets.
I as well am impressed at the skill and time it took to do such work. Only thing that I wonder about is does the engine run, if so what does the rest of the track look like. Plus, how does the bulider keep the set out of the rain and sun light? I cannot see some one leaving something like that out side with out protection of some sorts.
I blew up a few of the PIC and the (I cannot spell the icon of the Nazy party) it has been removed from the Germany Army Emblems. Good Idea.

Absolutely beautiful! It took me a while to realize that I was looking at models, and didn’t have a clue as to scale until the builder entered the scene.
Considering the location, that train is a lot more likely to encounter a P-39 than a P-38. And even more likely to get worked over by a squadron of Schtormoviks.
Can’t say for sure, but I wouldn’t be surprised that including swastikas in the modeling would have earned the responsible party a quick trip to Siberia. The French are pretty anal about Nazi symbols, and the Russians are probably even more so. (Not that I blame them. Killing several million people isn’t the way to win friends!)
Chuck (who has absolutely nothing military on his layout)
That is some incredible modelling!
What are you talking about???
It’s amazing wat can be acomplished in smaller scales!!!
HAHA
| That is great modeling!I first I thought it was the recent Trumpeter 1/35 scale model of the German Armored loco. But i think that the loco in the photos is larger than that!Great Modeling! |

Incredible, the cost must be incredible also. The one thing that gives it away immediately as a model scene is everything is bright, polished, shiny, new, these guys would have looked like coal miners at that point in history. Now all you model railroaders, do you see the importance of “weathering”
A couple guys over on the Classic Toy Trains forum posted this site. The figures are 1/6 scale and are made by a company by the name of Dragon.
Personally I’d like to see em get laid out by some P-39s or MiG-3s but it is a beautiful model. One of the things that really strikes me is the facial differences between the figures, it’s all really quite something. What scale is that exactly? Cheers! ~METRO
