While waiting to purchase my new house where my layout will ultimately reside, I’ve decided to start building sections of it as dioramas that can be placed into the final layout when I’m ready to build it. I’ve started the first diorama, which measures 2’ x 5’. I’ve built the diorama 49" high, although when it is installed permanently it will likely be even higher. It took me about 3 hours over all to complete this small table. There are some photos at the following link if anyone wants to see them, they are at the bottom of the page.

I’ll keep it updated as I progress! Feedback is appreciated!
Good to see your well on your way, however I would recommend you either cross brace your legs or stiffen them as all it would take is someone leaning on it or banging it for it to come down. My only regret is that I didn’t put as much finess into my benchwork.

Looks great, but as Fergie said, I’m worried about those legs, they look much too weak.
When the benchwork is more permanently installed it will definately have braces. I didn’t add any now because I need it to be highly portable. The legs are bolted on rather than screwed, so they’re pretty sturdy for as tall as it is. And when I need to move it, I can just unbolt each leg and it’s no bigger than a 1x4. It will end up being the end of a center peninsula if it makes it into my final layout.
