Benchwork photos( 5 pics, not too big)

I got the grade done since these were taken. I tried to keep any dips or humps in it to about 2mm. I hope that’s good enough. Still working on a final track plan but I’ve got a pretty good basic plan. Should be able to run 2 mains, 1 switcher and maybe an automated point to point at the same time.[:)][:)][:)]

loather, very nice!! Were’s all the sawdust?

It’s all in that new Bissel vacuum that’s in the box in the one pic.[;)]

I love how clean and pretty it is!

How high have you built it?

I especially like to see a gun in the train room, in case of an unruly guest engineer.

The table height in one corner starts out at 49" The floor is 5" out of level so at the opposite corner it’s actually 54" to keep it level. I had to put levelers on the legs to acheive this. The grade is 2.5% on the mainline and is all plastered in already with the wire drops installed. Got to get some ca***o buy more flex track and turnouts before I can go any further.[:(]

I’ve heard some strange noises out there late at night. You hear about a stray bear in my area every now and then.(boy scout motto-Be prepared!)

Lookin’ Good! Is it a "duck under to the center? It will be interesting to see it progress over time. Keep postin’! [8D]

Yup! It’s a ducker. I saw an article in the 06 Great Mod RR that should how a guy modified a low chair on wheels to scoot under into the pit. I’ll probably put a hook up on the outside to hook the PA system into also.(so I can run it from either side).

What type of room is it in?
Looks good keep us posted.

It’s coming along great, keep up the good work! Speaking of which, I should get back to working on mine.

It’s a dedicated train building. 400 sq ft. building. The layout is just under 100sq. ft. (not including the control pit in the middle. (8’x15’). I have 100sq.ft for work space and 100sq. ft for storage. Once the layout is done, a lot of the stored things can go under it and be hideen by curtins. I’ve done a lot more on it since these pics were taken. Those will be on the next roll of film I get devoloped.(no digital camera yet!, the one I want is $500[V] Konica/Minolta 12x zoom with SUPER macro function)

Looking good! I still remember the pix you posted of the concrete foundation being poured.
