I’m not sure if this is the place to post this. I apologize if this thread doesn’t belong here. I have just subscribed to “Classic Toy Trains” online. I have heard members have benefits such as access to certain parts of this website. I’m curious what the benefits are? I also have a link that says “Website access code” and am not sure where to find this code. When could I expect to get my first magazine? Thanks in advance.

I had the exact same question and called customer service. They said that if you are logged in, and your account shows you are a subscriber, you’ll get access to the online stuff. The Web Access code was used for people who bought the magazine on the newstand, but I don’t believe that functionality exists anymore.
The best thing about being a CTT subscriber to me is that you get the benefit of receiving CTT every 2 months!!! The reviews and stuff are nice, but I’m not a big ticket buyer so they’re not that important to me.

seems like most of those benefits lead one to purchase more magazines (archives) or trains (product reviews), rather than free information and photos
The “archives” on those linked pages lead to more product reviews and videos, not back issues. You don’t have to purchase any more magazines to access those archives, you just have to be a current subscriber.
^^^^^^exactly, I love being able to see some of the products operate. The problem is that most of the one’s that get reviewed are the BIG $$$ engines, yes there are a couple entry level models, but Lionel and MTH are pushing their high dollar stuff so I guess its to be expected.
