Best Applicators to weather with Chalks?

I’m learning the art of weathering with chalk and as this is another steep learning curve was wondering the following:

What are the best applicators
Are there any sights to show me “How-to”
Any other usefgul info.

As always thanks in advance.

Go to Wal-Mart and get some makeup wands. They come with sponge tips on either end. While you’re there, get a large makeup brush. Besides those brushes, get a good small horsehair brush, it’s good for working the chalks in.

Have your wife, girlfriend, whatever, go buy you a new set of makeup brushes. Get a nice set with several sizes of brushes, they all have uses. You might have an easier time of talking her into it if you tell her to buy two sets and just keep one. Don’t go get them yourself unless you are VERY comfortable in your masculinity!

Ditto on the makeup brushes. The work very well. You might also grab a couple of artist’t fan brushes. These brushes are wide and can cover a good size area.

Nice! I’ll look into that! [:D]

This reminds me of my other hobby: fishing. We used to used nail polish (the odd sparkley kind) for the heads of some of the baits.

Wouldn’t be the first and it won’t be the last time I get a strange look or teehee when I’ve picked up questionable stuff, Then I tell them what it’s for [:0]

It’s worth the[:I]! As for the Masculinity thing. I’ve got two kids, married 17 years, it’s not an issue!

Thanks for the links and advise guys[:D]
