I have quite a few items that I would like to trade or sell and I have had terrible experiences with Ebay in the past year. Any other avenue to go - I see Trainz.com has a buy sel board but how effective is that route?
TrainCity has a decent buy/sell board.
If you’re a member, the TCA eList for sales should be a godd forum.
Of course, if you can be patient as well as if you’re a TCA member, there’s always York.
E-mail me a list of what you have and what you want for each piece. I can be reached at japitz@hotmail.com.

eBay is the best way to reach the most people. That’s where I sell my surplus postwar trains that don’t get sold through my website. You are welcome to send your for sale list to my email address below.
what he said - please email me a list as well.
You might also try posting the list and prices on the buy sell board at www.modeltrainjournal.com
You can try www.choochooauctions.com or www.traincity.com
send your list of postwar with prices to me at okiechoochoo@cox.net
highly recommended.
Although it may be politically incorrect to say so here, the OGR forum has a buy/sell board.
not incorrect on CTT. I use it a lot and mention it a lot on here. Bought 90% of my modern diesels and a large part of my modern rolling stock from it. Met some nice guys and honest too.
I agree. I’ve pretty much given up on Ebay, unless I’m looking for junk to repaint or tweek.
Choochooauctions has been working for me. Just don’t let anyone else know. I don’t want the competition.
Just checked out choochoo auctions and they have a nice selection and good prices, did not see any junk on the site!
