Bi-Directional Hood Diesels

Does anybody know what roads currently use hood diesels that can be operated both ways (short- or long-hood forward) without having to be turned around? Any with controls on both side of the cab? Examples if you got 'em, thanx in advance…

Norfolk Southern runs long hood forward sometimes. I don’t know about having to change the controls around, though.

Most any GP or SD type of engine can be operated ‘long hood’ forward. There are restriction on some railroads about running ‘wide cab’ engines that way due to the layout of the ‘desktop’ controls; makes it somewhat difficult to use when facing the rear.
Some railroads have ordered ‘dual controls’(N&W for one), but there really are not many lines ordering this extra cost option any more.

Thanks, Paul and Jim. I’m familiar with N&W practice of running long hood forward. I was kind of hoping that maybe CSX would be in the list…oh well
