I remember see one at the Springfield, Ohio train show several years ago with a few heavyweight passenger cars. It was beautiful to behold. I don’t know the name of the manufacturer, but I beleive they may have made some other limited offerings.
I’d like to see one side by side USA Train’s ‘G’ gauge (21th century standard guage/scale) GG-1for a comparison. They should be about the same size.
It looks like a Dehanes standard Gauge GG1. They used to manufacture F3s in Standard Gauge also and are now out of business…Keith
According to the book America’s Standard Gauge Electric Trains, this engine was made by Roberts Lines, owned by Bob Hendrich of Glendora, California. There were only 58 of these engines ever produced.
That is one beautiful locomotive! Imagine how amazing it must look in person!

A couple days ago, there was a 24 lb. mallet on ebay. It was bought from a museum that closed, the guy said. The bids then were around $488.00. It was standard gauge,too. It really was nice, but no Mfg. name there, probably hand crafted. Thanks, John
