You people just don’t seem to understand just how tough it is out there. It used to be that this kind of money would get you into the World’s Richest People lists. Now you need to have billions just to get an honorable mention. Even Oprah is worth over 2 bill.
Beside that, do you know about inflation? A well place house in the 7000+ square foot range can run into 8 figures. Private golf and dining club fees have gone right through the roof. A “well equiped” automobile can run over a million. Have you seen the prices on 50 foot yachts? Try to buy some good artwork for all wall space in the house. And the media center. The equipment alone can run well over a 100 K. And special events? Unless you drop a million or two on the daughters wedding, only the local weekly will publi***he announcement.
The only good deal these days, beside much lower taxes, is that a nanny, gardener or other household help can be gotten for just a little over the minimum wage. Of course, their SSI and Medicare taxes still have to be paid.
Instead of complaining, you should extend sympathy. RIGHT.
