You are right about the interior of the coaches, They are as yet unfinished, the will get seats, passengers stoves for heat, perhaps lights and more.
My locomotives are radio controlled…great fun to be able to stop and start a steam locomotive and hear it working

Mr. Eric, I recommend You to make an interior for Your passenger cars. It will allow You to place passengers inside.
Please tell me, How do You control Your steam locomotive? Manually or You have a special radio control system for live steam locomotive?

Several days ago I have ordered live steam locomotive from “Accucraft”. Hope I will receive it in two weeks.
Maybe I will equip my locomotive with radio controll. That`s why I am asking You this question.

the hand set I use is a Spektrum DX5e unit. it is 2.4GHz spread spectrum. The same manufacturer makes receivers to go into your engine (or airplane). one hand set can be used for multiple models, you link the receivers to the hand set.
I use mini servos to actuate stuff.

Pardon a non train question. There is an Eric Schade who is a noted kayak designer. Would you perhaps be that Eric Schade? If so I see the same kind of craftsmanship in both fields.
