Hi guys!
I just filmed my D&RGW and Big Ten Curves for the first time. The windbreak cars are upside down at the moment and they will all be painted tan. I will soon add track and glue them. There will also be trees behind them as on the prototype. Can someone please tell me if the track where the windbreak cars are standing is lighter? I measured the distance between the cars and the track where the train is running from a photo of the prototype, so it should be pretty accurate. There are 24 cars on the prototype but I only have 12 cars because I must compress it a little. My camera is crap, and the lighting is also crap. But it was fun

Excellent benchwork…WOW. Please keep us current with videos of your progress. Great job!!!
Looking very nice! I can understand your joy for having reached to this stage, it looks very smooth.

Well, it’s no Ingemar Bergman, but still a very nice video.[;)] (Use a monopod, you’ll be pleased how much steadier your shots will be.) The benchwork looks very well planned and constructed. I can envision the geography of the layout already. I hope the backdrop is the next project on your to-do list, though. It might be difficult to reach after the scenery goes in. Looking forward to “Episode II.”
