…None too soon…I just clicked on my spyware software when turning on the computer and sure enough it had 11 parasites to take off…as it almost always does after I turn the unit on. They shouldn’t have a right to invade a computer like that.

Now is our chance to fight back, and thank god, but…not soon enough!
The damage is already done. I hate spyware. It slow my computer way down.aak.

Just make the switch to Firefox. Its free. I have been using it for several months and have cut my ad and spyware by 90%. I still run spybot and ad-aware. Nothing discovered in the last 3 weeks.

GOOD! it is about time; That will shut midADdle down, and they deserve it, I( think i’ve sent them 8 threatening letters and promised to file Suit aginst them if they did not Terminate their program.

MidADdle is a ramapnt Spyware program that copies itself 3 times on your HDD, and all spyware programs only elimiante 2/3 of the files, so the one left reamining recreates the other.

What the program basically does, if you type CNN.Com in your browser it will pop up an ad related to the subject of the CNN website, News… Good news deals, Perhaps a weather report.

Check it out- www.midaddle.com I have the program lodged onto my computer, but it’s not freom their site-oddly enough you can’t download it either- friggin “drive-by-downlaod”

Read the site, and tell me if you have the urge to knock the guy’s teeth down his throat- I know i get that urge.

Try using several programs. I use spybot and ad-aware. Both are free. Get rid of IE. Most of the spyware is written to take advantage of IE holes.

I have Windows98 which part of spybot do I download?(There are like 4 Downloads)
Or do I download all of them?

Search and destroy.

But it don’t help me much [:(]

I’m sure that the people that perpetrate this kind of thing will find a way around it though.

I use ad-aware and just about a week ago I downloaded Windows Service Pack 2 for my operating system Windows XP home addition. Almost everytime I turn the computer on and run ad-aware I find about 11 spyware programs that I must remove…
Computer also has Norton virus control and McAffee spam program…Still I have to fight stuff more than I think I shoud.

Yes they will. Spybot and ad-aware allows for updated, just like anti-virus. One must continue to update at least once a week. It won’t stop the spyware it it does hunt them down and delete off your PC. This helps performance. Again must of the spyware is written to take advantage of IE holes.

errr, I was referring to the anti-spyware law, you know, the original topic…

I understood. That why ones must continue to protect oneself.
