If the grooves for the legs were deeper (1/2") you wouldn’t have to remove the cutting glide (thus no loosing the nutss) because you could slide the cutting jig up pass the top rail as long as the bolt groove was long enough to accomodate.

I have been a fan of Black Bear Construction Company for years. I have worked with their jigs in N & HO for trestle bents and bridges. I have an earlier version of their G Scale bent construction jig and and going to buy this new version. These jigs are well made and easy to clean. You can’t go wrong with this companies products.
