Will a Kadee #5 properly fit into the snap in BLI coupler pocket?
Doesn’t seem to be enough clearance using the thicker shank of the Kadee, if the flat shim is removed the coupler is too sloppy and droops. One of the pockets won’t even accept the Kadee spring
Does it require using the Kadee box as well? Origional screw is too small, but should work. Still nothing like Atlas, Kato or P2K for overall design and quality in my book.
Any suggestions for proper fit.

If it “Droops” try to either shim it or get a Undershank (Or is that a over shank?)
Also look for insulated kaydees. My J1 PRR 2-10-4 threw a fit with a regular metal kaydee on it’s front when doubled with another steamer.
**Walks away mumbling under breath about 300 dollar engines and plastic kaydee wanna-bes =)
The MR review http:www.trains.com/Content/Dynamic/Articles/000/000/005/938hutvg.asp states that"
Kadee magnetic couplers mounted at right height".
Thanks for the info. This BLI B&O E7 came w/ Kadee knock offs, and I still am left with the same problem as described above. I most likely will be replacing the draft gear boxes unless there’s another trick that I am overlooking.
