BLI F7 Decoder install?

I have a set of BLI F7’s Model 422 A/B that I would like to add QSI DCC/Sound or if that’s to difficult just any good DCC Decoder. I figured what better place to get advice then this forum. Are they DCC friendly? I do know they do not have the NARMA plug etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Bill

BLI Loco’s already have a sound system installed. All you have to do is install a motor decoder into the 8 pin plug and program.

Bill.

As far as I know, The BLI stealth series of locos have an 8 pin plug for motor and light decoder. Adding either a Tsunami or the new QSI titan would only require a short harness. Can you post a picture of the chassis for us?

Pete

If this is a BLI Blue Line locomotive the A unit already has sound in it, and the B unit is a dummy. All you need for DCC motor control is to plug a decoder into the 8-pin socket.

Might not be any help. I bought a F7 A and B from BLI refurbished with no plug, decoder, speakers or lights and did my own with Tsunami light board decoder. Very easy. I posted the info here in this forum sometime ago.
