I noticed the valve gear eccentric is incorrect on the left side only for the Hybrid Mohawk. I should cant forward when the main rod is down. The engineer side of the locomotive is correct. I will see if this can be fixed by moving the assembly towards the front side.
It does look very nice overall and since they were selling the Brass Hybrid for $225, I could not resist some more of those.
This post is an informational type post to alert anyone that has the model to make the correction if their Mohawk has the same problem.
It turns out both my NYC Hybrids have this installed incorrectly on the left side only. It was easy since the cross head screw holds the eccentric in place and it can be loosen and tightened with the eccentric a few degrees forward then the main rod is down. It is fixed and looks much better.
