BLI SD7 info for B.N paint and BLI sound??

Im interested in the H0 Broadway SD7, preferably in Burlington Northern paint but i notice on BLI’s model, there are no white stripes on the ends of the unit.

Anyone know why? Were the stripes a later addition?

Are they worth the high cost for a sound version?

I presume you are referring to the pictures of the BN 6015/6011. If so, then you are actually looking at the rear of the locomotive. The ex-GN SD7s (and 9s) on the BN were set up to run long hood front. The stripes are on the other end, so out of view. The ex-CB&Q SD7s (and 9s) had the short hood as the front so they would have stripes there. Some later got striping on both ends. Hope this helps.
