BLI SW7 and NW2 sound

I’ve looked in several places and I can’t find info if the sound version of subject engines include coupler crash(it would seem obvious necessity with switcher). Ads and other info sources cite a list of sounds but not coupler crash. If coupler sound is not in original issue, does the updated chip have it? Thanks.

F3 is the coupler crash - according to the manual - loco’s put away for now, but I recall the function working.[:)]

I bought a Nothern Pacific SW7 about 3 weeks ago from FDT trains. The Broadway Limited model looks great and it has many sounds including the coupler crash/close.

I would be glad to answer more question about this particular model.

I have the Great Northern #160 NW-2, and the coupler noise feature is alive and well on mine.
