Anybody else waiting on the new run of BLI Switchers with sound. I missed out on the first run so this time I pre-ordered a NYC three months ago. The vender I ordered from says they should be in next week for shipping out. Just to make sure I also pre-ordered a NKP LL SW-8 with sound. Those are supposed to be in mid week next week also. Can’t wait to hear the little guys chugging around the yard. It aught to add lots more fun to switching.

Bump! Only 35 minutes and all ready on the second page. Lots of activity today.

My friend has a GN NW2 with sound and she runs and sounds great.
Terry,
I’m very fond of switchers and would love to get one of the BLI NYC NW2s but it doesn’t fit in my early layout era of the early 40s. [:(] They are very nice looking and well detailed.

Yep can’t wait to hear it tooling around the layout. I have 15 loco’s and 10 have sound but none of my switchers currently have sound. It’s hard to run a non sound unit now that I have expierienced sound.
Terry
I hear that.

Yup, now that I have my T-1, all the P2K GP-7’s and the S1 and my Stewarts are all boring! I’m keeping half an eye out for oddball roadnames of the P2K GP-9’s with sound, the older P2K shells will fit, or so I’ve heard, so could just swap my GP-7 shells and get sound units.
Sorta makes me want to get going on my project of stuffing multiple speakers into the Stewart F7 B unit and getting that Soundtraxx DSD I got at Timonium up and running. All I really need are the speakers , I have wires soldered on to the trucks for power.
The switchers are amazing, they have some of the best sounds of all the QSI units. The horn is quite impressive considering the small size of the unit and the fact that it only has one speaker whereas most of the others have 2. If only they’d do an SW1, in Reading…
