In the early 1990’s I photographed a tower (actually cabin…one story) at Bloomington on the ex GMO line as it crossed the NS line to Peoria. I believe it was a manual interlocking cabin and trains had to come to a complete stop before proceeding thru the route.
Does anyone know the name of the cabin and any info on it?

my dad doesnt remember the name of the tower, but when it was manned, they did not have to come to a complete stop.

I remember seeing an picture in an old copy of TRAINS. Not sure what issue, but I’ll look.
I live in Bloomington, and drive by the diamond each week.
IIRC, the tower was “BN”.
