Just received an email newsletter from Train World today, they are blowing out the Proto 2-8-8-2’s with DCC and sound for $249.95…

Guess somebody figured out that $500 for a “plastic” articulated is a bit much, maybe even “way too” much.

Anyhow, thought some of you might find this helpful…

These are beautifully crafted engines; the three I have are also very smooth runners at slow speeds.

At that price, a bargain!
