I am now the very happy owner of a pair of BLI Blue Line C30-7s - But there’s one thing that really bugs me…
They don’t run at the same speed! Now, I don’t have any sort of the accessory needed to, say, blow the horn or edit CVs…is there any way I can fix this so they move at the same speed?
Also, I haven’t read the fairly extensive owner’s manual yet, but can I adjust the sound levels without a controller? As I’m sure you know, sound-equipped units come with shell-shaking levels when you first get them.
It sounds like you’re running DC. If so, and the speed difference is substantial, you will have to put resistance on the motor of the faster engine to match the slower one. Calculating the amount of resistance can be by trail and error.
You also could look for mechanical binding in the slow one. If it is that pronounced there may be something loose, tight, or out of alignment. I don’t think I like the idea of disabling the fast one to match the slow one.
