BNSF 9999 at Green Bay, WI

Happened to drive by the CN yard in Green Bay yesterday and the road power from the Powder River- Green Bay (WPS Pulliam Plant) coal train was laying over while the plant dumps the inbound loads. Along w/ a newer GE, was BNSF 9999. I guess other than the road number, it’s probably an unremarkable EMD SD60 or 70MAC.

Still, my guess is that its the highest roster # unit in the BNSF fleet, so kinda cool to see it for that reason.

BNSF 9999 is an EMD SD70MAC.

That unit gets around. I spotted it in late may in Kansas on a Texas-bound coal train. It was leading that particular train.
