BNSF AC4400 B Unit

A new locomotive rolls out of the BNSF Table Rock shops. BNSF AC4400B 5622. The unit was involved in a wreck in November 2010 and was rebuilt as a B unit at the Table Rock Shops. It came out a great looking unit. It was made from a blue box Athearn AC4400. I made this B unit to run with an Intermountain BNSF ES44AC. You can check out more pics at www.traincarhobbies.com.

Nice idea, but I’m going to be mean and say you should have a stanchion on the right end of the “battery box”. And some sort of steps–a crew person might have to climb that rather high “wall”. Or leap down–not good on a moving locomotive.
