Hi from England [:)], is there any up to date rosters of BNSF cabooses that are still in use today. I have seen them in use in several locations but I dont know how many are still left. The one’s I have seen have been ex SF modern cabooses but there must be ex BN ones left in service as well
I don’t know about any rosters, but I know that a former BN caboose is in daily use in switching operations at Saginaw Yard in Saginaw, TX.

I wonder if they use cabooses of their former lines; eg ex SF cabooses on ex SF lines
The BNSF Railroad uses plenty of BN Caboose’s in Omaha’s Gibson yard for transfer run’s to Council Bluffes,Ia from Omaha,Ne.
in tulsa ok there are two former bn cabs, to use when shoveing. all so there are three cabs in columbus ks., one is still in cb&q paint! i can tell you there is alot of cabooses in many of the yards for long shoveing moves.
There are several BN cabooses being used in switching opreation in Great Falls , Montana
until a couple years ago, the BNSF always had a caboose on the Monticello sub to albertville runs. We still see it occasionally…
There are ex-BN cabooses being used on the locals here in northern Minnesota.
