BNSF celebrates 150 years of railroads in Minnesota
I attended the event and thank BNSF for commemorating this important milestone, and the Minnesota Transportation Museum for hosting it. While it would have been nice to have the William Crooks transported to the MTM roundhouse, hearing the whistle was also pretty impressive.

Yes your are correct. The William Crooks was displayed in the St. Paul Union Depot.
It is currently on display at the Lake Superior Transportation Museum in Duluth, MN.
Yes is was and still is. The “William Crooks” is in the Duluth transportation museum.
I recall a steam engine on display during the 1950’s in St. Paul Union Depot. Was it the named the “William Crooks” ?
NP, GN. and BN were great railroads and BNSF is a great railroad. The State of Minnesota is a great place to live or visit.
