BNSF contributes to Edmonds’ grade crossing study
BNSF does want to be a good neighbor and does want to move on and into the future safely, but stupid people just won’t let that happen. The crush of humanity in the Puget sound region is only going to get heavier. Maybe BNSF should consider finding some other route between Everett and Seattle, further inland. They already have enough trouble keeping this route fluid due to the large number of landslides each year. My God, I wish I had one tenth of one percent of the money they have to spend on right of way maintenance in this area alone! Now, here come more yuppies wanting the railroad to allow them easier access to their sailboats & yachts. I can see that this issue will never be resolved to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
