Scary! That’s an old video. I think that wreck happened around 2 years ago.

Thats the first time I saw it. I hope the guy that jumped at the last second survived.

If you can search out that thread on the Trains mag forum, the accident report and pics of the aftermath were posted. Talk about a bad career move…

There were also two files of photos of the remains of the locos on You-tube. Amazing no one was killed!

Yeah, that was a bad move on the engineer of the on coming train.

Not only am I amazed that everyone survived but that the boys in the viewed cab stayed calm. I think I only heard the S word quietly. If it was me, I would have been cussing and screaming till the end.

I could have sworn that someone had mentioned the microphone was outside the cab and that may be the reason we didn’t hear much from the crew.
