Of course the current transit corollary is the economic development that follows…how’s that for word play? Is it any wonder that real estate entrepreneurs favor streetcar lines?

If they are doing well with frozen food, they should work to restart the Cold Train that shut down due to poor BNSF service a couple of years ago.

Eric,

I wondered the same thing. The new projects are great, but now BNSF has to provide a reliable service, don’t they.

BNSF’s efforts to secure traffic through help with facilities location and/or expansion is laudable. However, this appears to be a PR effort. BNSF has some fences to mend with customers who have been hurt by past service disruptions.
