BNSF Maersk Sealand FP45

Does anyone have any information on this locomotive? It’s an FP45 BNSF Maersk Sealand paint scheme, and this is the only picture I can find of it.

I understand it was a promo paint scheme, but if anyone has any other pictures or knows what year(s) it was around, I’d appreciate it.

I was going to modify my Amtrak FP45 because; I don’t really have any use for an Amtrak train on my layout.

BNSF painted up one of its SDP40Fs in this scheme. See http://rosters.gcrossett.com/bnsf/SDF40-2.htm for details of BNSF #6976, the former AT&SF #5266. I believe this unit has been preserved.

Actually the engine was only painted for the one day photo shoot and was quickly
repainted in the San Bernandino,CA shops.

Actually, it’s still alive and well, and in Maersk paint too.
