The side logos are growing on me, but they have to do something different with the nose logo. It 's not right. It looks off balance.

HA HA! WOW! THat’s tacky as hell! I wonder when Phil Knight is going to be filing suit for copyright infringement against BN for stealing the NIKE logo. Unbelievable. I’ve seen Generic Tennis Shoes at Wal-Mart that have a prettier logo than that. FOr such a respectable railroad, such a travesty. I wonder if they’re even aware how un-classy that looks.

The simple slanted lettering reminds me of the obligatory slanted numbers on the sides of the NASCAR cars. Perhaps, though, it is leaning the wrong way; I’ll have to check.
I have in front of me a wonderful picture that the mudchicken took of BNSF 4883, and I’m wondering… why would they make a paint scheme change to something so unremarkable?[tdn]
Nice logo. Complain all you want but the BNSF logo is better than the straight lace logo that now graces the engines.
Design your own new logo and submit it to the railroad. One hint, keep it simple and visible from a distance.
Wichita State University athletic department tried to create a new logo a few years ago. The athletic department spent over $15,000 for an outside firm to design a new logo. Within a few days after the new logo was unveiled, it was abandoned. It looked more like the Harley-Davidson logo with wheat sprouting out the top. The public criticism doomed the new logo.
The local amateurs came up with better logos but the university decided to keep the old logo of arching wheat over the letters WSU.
The CSX lettering on the engine next to the BNSF 7687 in one of the pictures is about as exciting as…… Well, you can fill in the blank. Talk about needing a makeover for engine lettering CSX needs help. Get your suggestions to CSX before they create something you don’t like.

Didn’t like it at first, but I must say, it really looks cool on that new GEVO.
the smaller logo fits right in on the side of that unit, perhaps the front is a little
weird yet, but it’s growing on me. I think it looks really sharp.
