BNSF Power on UPRR at Rochelle.

Has anyone seen any BNSF Power going West on the UPRR at Rochelle,Ill?
BNSFrailfan.

Yes occassionally. Today there was a EBer lead by a UPRR then a BNRR then a NSRR about a hour ago. You may catch it in recent images. [:D][:p][:o)]

I see BNSF on the UP and UP on the BNSF there sometimes.

I was watching a tape I purchased from Pentex called the Marysville sub #2. They said that when you see joint BNSF/UPRR power it means that the train originated on a mine served by the BNSF then the BNSF turns it over to the UPRR & then on return the UPRR brings the M/Ts back to the BNSF. There is a power plant in Jefferies OK that buys it coal from a mine served by the BNSF but the plant itself is located 5 miles east of the mainline of the Marysville sub of the UPRR. The BNSF turns the train over to the UPRR in Nebraska & I guess the UPRR puts its locos on to lead the train. I am sure the BNSF does that in reverse when the coal purchased is from a mine served by the UPRR but the BNSF is the delivery carrier [:o)][:D][:p]
