It is not a GP38-2. It is as written, a GP28P. It was originally built as a GP9 for the NP and rebuilt and reclassified to GP28P.

Quite a sight to see, I’m sure. Going into that area would mean braving the blizzard, and that would carry its own hazards. I’ll stay here in sunny So Cal and sit this one out.
