BNSF schemes

BNSF has had many paint schemes. i’m wondering wich 1 is yur fav!

They had many more than that, but my favorite is Heritage II.

Greg

The Green & Cream is called “Executive” and the Wedgie is called “Heritage 3”. Well I like H3 the best.

The Executive scheme was not a BNSF scheme. It was the BN’s new scheme before the merger.

I don’t know what paint scheme goes with what name.

Not quite. Even after the merger SD70MAC’s were painted in exec. colors w/ “BNSF” on the sides until around 1997. From then on H2 was used on SD70MAC’s.

i only listed the one i new off the top of my head.

I love the way that the H2 looks in the sun when it’s not faded…

They painted Warbonnets with BNSF on the side too, that does not make it a BNSF scheme. Just a copy cat.

personally all the schmes are terrible, i myself would have picked a more appealing scheme shall we say RED AND SILVER!

For a true BNSF scheme, I like Heritage one. But nothing can beat the ATSF Warbonnet or BN Executive!

I’m sorry, but I cannot understand you. I do not recognize words such as “yur”, “wich”, and “wut”. I would appreciate it if you made an attempt to spell words correctly.

Thank you,
Matt

I have an idea.
How about the Santa Fe Blue Bonnet with an all Sylver underframe. I loved the Santa Fe’s Blue Bonnet and the Red and Sylver Scheme. Allan.

Speaking of favorite schemes, does anyone know of a good match to the Exec cream & green? I’m working on an undec SD70MAC to match BN #9665.

I like BNSF’s H1,H2,H3 Scheme’s the best.

I like the orange and green pumpkin - what ever phase that was.

Pumpkin refers to H2

Anything in BNSF just makes me want to FOAM! [:p] Im am seriously obsessed with BNSF.

I like the executive livery. I do not model BNSF but I know it is only a matter of time until I get one or two SD70s in executive livery. Guess they will just have got leased by NS. Of course why am I being picky? I have no issue funning a Deutch Bahn EO3 along side the Acela.[:D]

Whichever one of the above choices was known as the Pumpkin Scheme – I’m no big fan of BNSF so I don’t know the terms you are using here…
