BNSFKline suspends railfan activites....yet again

You took the words right out of my mouth! [swg]

The stepfather!!![:o)]

…DILLIGAF…?

[(-D][(-D][(-D][(
WAH WAH!!!
use yor feet
maybe if you work at somewhere other than i hop

There’s nothing nice to say about him but my sympathies to you for your mother’s lack of judgment.

I would torch that car, send it to the crusher and take whatever money from the scrap yard toward completly different transport. The blown engine is only one of this cars problems. You shuld put as much distance between you and this car/stepdad as you can.

Since this is the Xmas season & people are supposed to be in a more giving mood to others less fortunate like you so the question arises did you start this thread to solicit donations from the group[?]

Some of you are so heartless and very mean. Sorry to hear this Kline. I hope that you find another car soon. And good luck to you. Allan.

The railroads offer perfect examples of how a piece of machinery can last virtually forever given proper maintenance…how else could they have locomotives that have literally over a million miles on them (and sometimes way over a million) and were built in the 1950’s. Take care of them and they will take care of you is “right on”.

Why do I get the impression that everyone is lecturing kline? If I read the posts correctly, kline did change the oil, after the vehicle was abused by the step-dad. As I read it, very little fault lies with kline. Remember, he’s a railnut like the rest of us, so he can’t be all bad, no matter who he is related to.

kline, I can’t offer you a car or any cash for another (it’s too close to Christmas), but I can offer you a ride to watch trains, if I get down your way. Also don’t let the troubles with your step-dad get you down. Now is the time to show everyone what YOU are made of, not his influence on you. Take this tragedy and turn it around and make something positive out of it. Be there for your mother. Bolster her self-esteem so she won’t pick another man like your previous step-dad by showing her she did alright by you. Don’t be too proud to ask for help, especially from your real father upstairs. He loves to improve situations like yours. Have a Merry Christmas and a BETTER new year.

…Geez…one mention about my step-dad and everyone goes balistic…This has gotten WAY off topic. Honestly, the only reason why I brought up my step-dad was to show that he couldn’t buy me anther car. This talk about my stepdad has brought back bad memories…so if you guys would just drop the stepdad topic, this is about my car and me suspending my railfanning activites, NOT about my stepdad being in prison.

…I would also like to mention a couple of things to 06archered…

…I left IHOP back in May, 7 months ago…You are WAY behind in times…And you laughing at the fact that I have NO car really insulted me…That was WAY uncool…I would like an apology.

The only really important lesson to be learned from this is to “learn from experience”…PERIOD!

I mearlly wi***o reiterate that engine failure is only one symptome of bad maintenace and I hope you get a different car soon. Merry Christmas

Perhaps you could explain how your Stepdad got “Your” car in the first place. He doesn’t seem like someone I’d trust my car (or insurance) to in the first place.

Sure nice enough to see that everyone cares for one another. Geez.
Allan.

Its Christmas folks…

Let it go…

The car went from Mom-Stepdad-Me.

Excellent suggestion, we have beat this one to death…MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYBODY.[:)]
