Bob’s Train Box #57
Bob,
I really like BTB in HD. HD allows close examination of products. The Catzclaw Police Call Box (PCB) looks like it went through ripples in time. If you remove the ripples when you fix-er-upper the PCB I would like to know how you did it.
I really like the High Definition video, it shows off the products in great detail. For example the Police Call Box appears to have passed through a time ripple leaving the surface rippled. Cool!
Good show, as always. That WBB is another puller! I think you could have added another 10 cars!
Video is working much better. Whatever your IT guys did, no more jitters. No changes made to my PC. So tell me what is the brand of those Reading style or NMj cabooses in the foreground?
Bob, I suspect the difference may be a $10,000 video camera and a three person crew with pretty state of the art processing gear. We (CTT) have a $150 camera and process it on older iMacs. We were concerned that the size of the file would be too much for our server (MRVP uses another firm to serve their videos) and we were worried the rendering of it might cause problems. Wayne, The cabooses are by Marx. The call box might be a challenge, but I suspect it will be far enough back to not have the stripes show. Some of the Menards structures have been production samples and figures have had the lines, but the production figures are smooth.
The new music is great!
Always enjoy these videos - keep’em coming! Thrilled to hear that 25 years of CTT are going digital.
Very good!!!
Just wondering why (before I think to order the 25 year DVD set) this set is scheduled to operate only on computers
and not stand-alone DVD players. That should be the way to go. Any answer? Please respond. Thanks.
Still continue to enjoy the articles as well as all the classified ads .
Why do most people run their O-Gauge trains 150 MPH including Bob?
Hi Joseph, to answer your question, the DVD disc contains computer software, which will display the magazine files on Macs and PCs. It is not able to run on a standalone DVD player.
Steve, all the cargo on my railroad is high priority, even the coal!
25 years of CTT DVD is GREAT news!
HD video REALLY improves the looks of the models and items shown! Except Bob.
Train Box in HD looks great. Hope WBB makes an NYC version of the 44 tonner.
Sorry BOB but all the new Menard’s items are on their website and pretty cool to boot !
Jim, I’m restricted on releasing their products until they say so – makes sense since they may send me a product sample that won’t be in their warehouse for another three months. I still have some freight cars and a structure here that they have not yet green lighted for me!
